We are participating in another blog hop. It is Quilting Around the Block Sew Much Fun Tour and we are week 38 – with a Bolts of Fabric complimentary block. If you missed the previous blocks, there is a link below to see all of them on the tour website.

This blog hop features 6-1/2″ quilt blocks by designers that feature everything quilting and sewing.

Please go back to our March 28th post to see my March Island Batik Ambassador project. We have two Spring quilt patterns for sale during the month of April. They are Golden Gate Park Table Runner and Spring Friends Table Runner.

This is an appliqué block showcasing three bolts of fabric in yellow, blue and rose. This block can definitely be made by an advanced beginner. If you think that you can’t do it, all I have to say is if an old retired attorney can do it, you can too!

I did the blanket stitch machine appliqué around the raw edges of the fabric with my Janome 6600.

    1. Hi Pam, I am so glad that you like the block. To get the block, if you are not currently subscribed to my newsletter, you need to do that first and then you will receive an email that has a link to the block and a coupon code so that you get it for free. The subscribe box is over on the right hand side of the blog. You can see that box the best on a computer. If you are on a phone, you may need to turn it sideways to see it. I hope this helps. Reed
