This patriotic lap sized, 70.5″ x 60.5,” quilt kit is made from 2.5” strips that are sewn together to form a tube and then cut the tube to form the 5.5” squares. All of the strips and borders have been precut for you making this quilt a breeze to put together. The pattern may be ordered in regular booklet size 5.5″ x 8.5,” or in a large print edition 8.5″ x 11.” You may order either edition from the drop down menu in the checkout. If you can sew a straight 1/4 inch seam, you can make this quilt. This pattern creates a patriotic quilt which is excellent to snuggle up with during an American Election year. This quilt is non-partisan and perfect for Democrats, Republicans, or Independents. It would be great for any patriotic holiday such as Memorial Day, the 4th of July, or Veteran’s Day.
